First Time?

What to Expect

If you're visiting for the first time, here's what you can expect at a typical Sunday service.

Before the Service

Arrive a few minutes early if you can. A greeter will welcome you at the door and provide you with a service bulletin (the order of service). Feel free to sit wherever you're comfortable — there's no assigned seating.

During the Service

Our services typically last about one hour. You'll find the order of service and hymn numbers in your bulletin. Don't worry if you don't know all the responses or when to stand, sit, or kneel — simply follow along with those around you, or remain seated if that's more comfortable. There's no pressure to participate in any way you're not ready for.

Holy Communion

During Holy Communion, all baptized Christians are welcome to receive. If you prefer, you may come forward for a blessing instead (simply cross your arms over your chest). You're also welcome to remain in your seat — there's no expectation either way.

After the Service

Please join us for coffee and conversation in the parish hall after the service. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet members of our community and ask any questions you might have. We'd love to get to know you!

Children

Children are always welcome in our services! We have children's activity materials available, and little ones are free to move around as needed. We believe the sounds of children are the sounds of a living church.

Accessibility

Our church building has wheelchair access. Large print bulletins are available. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us ahead of time so we can ensure you're comfortably accommodated.
