All are welcome at Christ Church Aylmer! Whether you're looking for a new church home and family, visting the area, or wanting to see what church is about, we invite you to come to a Sunday service.
Regular Sunday service times
Our 8:00 am Sunday service usually includes the Sacrament of Holy Communion. It follows the book of Alternative Services, without music. This service is quiet and reflective, usually with few children attending.
Our 9:30 am Sunday service usually includes the Sacrament of Holy Communion, following the book of Alternative Services, with a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary music.
- The 9:30 am service is geared towards families and those who enjoy lively music during
their worship.
- It includes a children's program (Sunday school) for kids of all ages, which meets meets in the lower parish hall. The children leave at the end of the first hymn and return to their families in time for communion. Parents are welcome to accompany their children to Sunday school or to keep them in church through the entire service, as they prefer.
- After the 9:30 am service, we have coffee time in the parish hall, where we enjoy
fellowship, coffee, tea, juice and goodies. We encourage parishioners "new" and "old" to come for coffee time.
Children are welcome in church. If they'd like, kids can play with the toys, books and colouring supplies at the back of the church. There's also a diaper changing station and a quiet room, suitable for nursing, located in the lower hall.
